Staff or departments <br />with primary responsibility are identified in each jurisdictional annex (see Volume 2). <br /> <br />23.2.2 CRS Subcommittee <br />Under FEMA’s Community Rating System (CRS) program, communities can receive CRS credit for hazard <br />mitigation plans that meet criteria established under the program. A key element of that credit is annual progress <br />reporting and the review process used for the annual progress report. CRS Activity 510 credit criteria specify that <br />the annual evaluation report must be prepared by the same planning committee that prepared the plan or by a <br />successor committee with a similar membership charged with plan monitoring and implementation evaluation. <br /> <br />A CRS Subcommittee will be formed that will assume the responsibility of reviewing and preparing the progress <br />report in a format suitable to meet CRS documentation requirements. The principal role of the CRS Subcommittee <br />will be to review the annual progress report and provide input to San Mateo County DEM on possible <br /> <br /> <br />23-2
