<br /> <br />2021 Multijurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan <br /> <br />44 CFR Requirement 2016 Plan Updated Plan <br />Requirement §201.6(c)(4)(i): [The plan <br />maintenance process shall include a] <br />section describing the method and <br />schedule of monitoring, evaluating, and <br />updating the mitigation plan within a five- <br />year cycle. <br />The plan included a plan maintenance <br />strategy that included protocols for: <br /> Steering Committee role <br /> Annual progress reporting <br /> Plan updates <br /> Continuing public involvement <br /> Incorporation of the plan into other <br />plans and programs <br />The strategy was enhanced to include a twice per <br />year review of the status of actions, with one of <br />the meetings to confirm the annual progress <br />report. All other components were unchanged. A <br />subcommittee will be established for Community <br />Rating System participating communities to meet <br />progress reporting requirements. <br />Requirement §201.6(c)(4)(ii): [The plan <br />shall include a] process by which local <br />governments incorporate the requirements <br />of the mitigation plan into other planning <br />mechanisms such as comprehensive or <br />capital improvement plans, when <br />appropriate. <br />The plan details recommendations for <br />incorporating it into other planning <br />components such as: <br /> Emergency response plans <br /> Natural hazard elements of community <br />plans <br /> Capital improvement programs <br /> Municipal codes <br /> Community design guidelines <br /> Landscape design guidelines <br /> Stormwater management programs <br /> Water system vulnerability <br />assessments <br /> Any additional plans as they are <br />reviewed and updated during the <br />performance period of the plan. <br />This component of the plan maintenance strategy <br />from the 2016 plan was carried over to the 2021 <br />plan update. <br />Requirement §201.6(c)(4)(iii): [The plan <br />maintenance process shall include a] <br />discussion on how the community will <br />continue public participation in the plan <br />maintenance process. <br />The plan details a strategy for continuing <br />public involvement such as: <br /> Website <br /> Libraries <br /> Publication of a progress report <br />This component of the plan maintenance strategy <br />from the 2016 plan was carried over to the 2021 <br />plan update. <br />Requirement §201.6(c)(5): [The local <br />hazard mitigation plan shall include] <br />documentation that the plan has been <br />formally adopted by the governing body of <br />the jurisdiction requesting approval of the <br />plan (e.g., City Council, County <br />Commissioner, Tribal Council). <br />All planning partners that fully met their <br />participation requirements as defined by <br />the planning process formally adopted the <br />plan. <br />All planning partners that fully met their <br />participation requirements as defined by the <br />planning process formally adopted the plan. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2-8
