Survey #1 Survey Responses by Zip Code <br /> <br /> <br /> The majority of the surveys were completed by people who live in households with greater than $230,001 <br />in annual income, by people age 61 or older, and by people who identify as white. <br /> 475 write-in comments were received from the surveys. <br />All survey results were provided to the Steering Committee for review in support of confirming the mission <br />statement, goals, objectives, and countywide actions for this plan update. The results also were included in the <br />toolkit provided to each planning partner to help frame mitigation actions and public outreach strategies to include <br />in their action plans. The survey and a summary of results are included in Appendix B. <br /> <br />Summary of Survey #2 Findings <br />The planning team summarized the findings from responses to Survey #2 as follows: <br /> Number of completed surveys = 703 (all completed via the internet): <br /> 82.1% (577) English <br /> 17.6% (124) Spanish <br /> 0.3% (2) Chinese <br /> Survey responses were received from 16 cities and seven unincorporated communities within the County, <br />with the majority of participants coming from Half Moon Bay (18.8%), Pacifica (12.8%), and Redwood <br />City (11.4%). Figure 3-6 shows the distribution of survey responses by zip code. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3-12
