REV: 10-07-2021 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> Consultant will provide the following services for the turf replacement project at Hawes <br />Field, 909 Roosevelt Ave. in Redwood City, California: <br />Task 1: Project Start-up / Site Assessment <br />1. Attend one kick-off meeting with City to discuss project, including budget, timeline, and <br />parameters. <br />a. Communication of the project issues; <br />b. Setting up the project; <br />c. Developing the project work plan and develop a project schedule; <br />d. Review of the project budget and establishing a tracking and the parameters <br />for reporting project progress. <br />e. Visit and walk the project area to confirm the existing conditions and to receive <br />additional input from the City on desired site specific improvements. <br />f. Agenda and minutes of the meeting will be provided by Verde Design <br /> <br />2. Review as-built/record documents of project site and pertinent reports including the <br />exhibits referenced in the proposal. <br />3. Utilizing the digital CAD files and as-built drawings, develop existing conditions base <br />for the intended improvements. <br />4. Determine method for selecting the replacement synthetic turf including the City’s <br />desire to include a shock pad vendor, as applicable. <br />Task 2: Initial Design (50% Design Submittal) – This initial design will be used as the <br />basis for the development of the Final Design. The tasks include, but are not limited to <br />the following: <br />1. Attend one meeting with the City to review the findings and project <br />recommendations. Meeting agenda and minutes will be provided. <br /> <br />2. Set up CAD background files and applicable drawing sheets. <br /> <br />3. Develop a 50% CD submittal package (two sets to be provided). The package <br />will include the following at a minimum: <br />a. Cover sheet <br />b. Existing conditions plan c. Demolition plan <br />d. Grading / Drainage plan <br />e. Layout/ Material plan <br />f. Construction details <br />g. Technical Specifications <br />ATTY/AGR.2021.256/Verde Design (Page 10 of 12)
