REV: 07-28-22 JB <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant will provide the following additional services for the turf replacement project at Fair Oaks <br />Field, 2950 Fair Oaks Ave. in Redwood City, California: <br />Task 1: Project Start-up / Site Assessment <br />1. Attend one kick-off meeting with City to discuss Fair Oaks site, project bidding, overall <br />budget, timeline, and parameters. <br />2. Walk Fair Oaks project site and validate existing conditions. <br />3. Set up CAD files for Fair Oaks site and modify Hawes Package to incorporate additional <br />site and to also modify design to change root barrier detailing and demolition limits. <br />4. Utilizing the digital CAD files and as-built drawings, develop existing conditions base <br />for the intended improvements. <br />Task 2: Initial Design <br />1. Develop a revised Hawes set, which will include the Fair Oaks field replacement, <br />which will be an approximate 50% CD submittal package for Fair Oaks. Digital <br />submittal will include a single package for both sites, with a single set of <br />specifications. We will also provide a statement of probable construction costs <br />that will be based on a single bid for both field areas. <br />2. Attend one virtual page turn meeting with the City to review the submittal and <br />receive comments. <br />Task 3: Pre-Final Design (90% Design Submittal) <br />1. Incorporate 50% design submittal review comments. <br />2. Develop a 90% PS&E submittal package. <br />3. Complete an internal Redline/QC review by Verde staff. <br />4. Submit the pre-final submittal package to the City digitally for review and final <br />comment. <br />5. Attend one virtual review meeting with City staff to present and review 90% package, <br />to receive final comments, and confirm bidding strategy. <br />Task 4: Final Design Package (100% Design Submittal) <br />1. Incorporate comments received from the City on the 90% Design Submittal. <br />2. Prepare the 100% Design Submittal including complete construction documents, <br />specifications, and cost estimates. <br />3. Complete Final Internal Redline/QC review by Verde staff. <br />4. Provide an electronic copy of the drawings in AutoCAD as required and in PDF Format, <br />specifications in <br />Word and PDF format, and a cost estimate in Excel and PDF format. <br />TASK 5: Bid Support and Construction Services – The following services will be provided during the bidding process and construction phase of the project. <br />1. Provide design clarification responses during the bid phase. <br />2. Contact potential bidders relative to the bid package. <br />3. Attend a Pre-Bid Conference. Respond to questions from prospective bidders. Assist in <br />issuing addenda as directed by the City. <br />4. Review bids and provide evaluation as appropriate. <br />ATTY/AGR.2022/Amend.
