Service Level Impacts With the elimination of the Citywide Newsletter, we will lose the "every household" penetration of this direct mail program, thus communicating with the community less frequently, with less regularity, and therefore less effectively. To partially compensate, we will redirect funds to increase level of advertising, and will redirect some funds to other communication/outreach efforts, such as direct mail, flyers, and outside translation. Packal!e 3 N/A Packal!e 4 Description of Proposed Reduction All reductions in Package 2; Additionally, Package 4 would reduce the City Hall reception desk by 0.05 FTE, Administrative Clerk III position. Service Level. Impacts City Hall's reception desk and Citywide main telephone switchboard will be closed for three hours per week. Impacts of having three fewer hours of coverage per week will include reduced service to community members who call or visit the front desk during those closed hours, as well as delays in conference room scheduling, receiving of packages, and routing of incoming phone calls to departments, all of which will have to be redirected during the time that the desk is not staffed.
