Attend a pre-bid meeting led by the City <br /> <br />. Review and respond to bidder's inquiries and clarification requests <br /> <br />. Prepare up to two (2) addenda. <br /> <br />Meetings: This Subtask assumes attendance of 2 engineers at the pre-bid <br />meeting <br /> <br />Deliverables: Two addenda to the Plans and Technical Specifications with a <br />maximum of twenty items each. <br /> <br />b. Construction Support Services: Kennedy/Jenks will provide the City with <br />engineering support services during construction. Services will include the <br />following items: <br /> <br />. Attend a pre-construction coordination meeting with the City, the <br />construction manager, and the contractor to answer questions on the <br />design intent and documents and discuss contract administration <br />procedures. <br /> <br />. Attend weekly construction meetings for the duration of field activities, <br />which is assumed to be 16 weeks (2 hours per meeting, including <br />travel). <br /> <br />. Respond up to ten (10) of requests for information (RFls) or <br />clarification on the design intent and the contents and requirements of <br />the drawings and specifications forwarded by the City. <br /> <br />. Review up to thirty (30) of Contractor's submittals on products and <br />materials to be used in the project construction, including substitutions <br />and proposed equivalents for conformance with the project <br />requirements before they are accepted for use. Maintain a submittal <br />review log for items received. <br /> <br />. Prepare up to two (2) of requests for quotation (RFQs) on extra work <br />and Change Orders to administer agreed to changes to facilitate <br />potential changes to the Contract. Maintain a log of the RFQs <br />prepared by Kennedy/Jenks and receive copies of Cons'truction <br />Manager's logs of RFQs and Change Orders. <br /> <br />. Perform six (6) site visits during construction for partial construction <br />observation.
