<br />6.2A <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE REDWOOD CITY BUDGET FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 BY TRANSFERRING $40,000 FROM THE <br />"WATER FUND CAPITAL PROJECTS-DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM <br />REPLACEMENT PROGRAM" ACCOUNT INTO THE "WATER FUND <br />CAPITAL PROJECTS-MASTER METERlBACKFLOW PREVENTION" <br />ACCOUNT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Services Department is engaged in an ongoing <br /> <br />effort to replace master water meters in Redwood Shores in an effort to improve the <br /> <br />reliability and performance of the equipment and standardize older water meters with <br /> <br />other recently installed units; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the master water meters for the Redwood Shores and Harborside <br /> <br />Apartments are outdated and require replacement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. <br />14955 approving its Fiscal Year 2009-2010 budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 2009-2010 budget did not include the funds within <br /> <br />the Master Meter/Backflow Prevention account necessary to complete the Master Water <br /> <br />Meter Replacement Project in Redwood Shores; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, amendment of the current year budget is necessary to reallocate <br /> <br />available funds and make them available for expenditure on the Master Water Meter <br /> <br />Replacement Project (Redwood Shores and Harborside Apartments) by transferring <br /> <br />$40,000 from the "Distribution System Replacement Program" account to the "Master <br /> <br />Meter/Backflow Prevention" account. <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />ATTY/RESOIRESO.1954 <br />101309 <br /> <br />1 <br />
