REV: 04-05-2022 RL <br />Consultant will provide the final project schedule and the background <br />data/document request. <br />At the start of the project, Consultant will develop and submit a list of <br />requested data and information relevant to this project, including the City <br />General Plan, growth forecasts, any appropriate prior studies, Fire <br />Department (“Department”) documentation including (as available) dispatch <br />data, fleet inventory, facility information, current personnel, equipment and <br />other operating costs and other relevant information. Once Consultant <br />receives the requested documentation from the City and Department, <br />Consultant will review it prior to the startup meeting and stakeholder <br />listening interviews in the subtask 1.2, as described below. <br />Consultant will additionally request City any other available GIS data layers, <br />hazard and risk-related information, travel time performance measure(s), <br />and historical calls-for-service data from Department’s data systems <br />necessary for completion of the SOC. <br />1.2 Meet with City, Fire Department, and Community Representatives to Initiate <br />Study <br />Consultant will, in collaboration with City and Fire Department leadership, <br />review and finalize a detailed work plan, project schedule, schedule of <br />activities, project deliverables, roles and responsibilities, and project <br />benchmarks. <br />Consultant will meet with, as appropriate and/or as requested by the Fire <br />Chief or designee: <br />City leadership and other key City staff <br />Fire Department leadership and other key staff <br />Employee labor group leadership <br />Elected or appointed community officials <br />Other project stakeholders as identified <br />1.3 Additional Community Outreach <br />Consultant, with the assistance of the City, will conduct public engagement <br />workshops and an online community survey. <br />Consultant will conduct public engagement workshops to gather community <br />input on their perception of fire and emergency services.
