<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />NO. 807 <br /> <br />REQUESTING STATE FUNDS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The state of California, under Chapter 47, <br />Statutes of 1944, (4th Extra Session) has appropriated funds <br /> <br />for allotment to provide financial assistance to local agencies <br />defined therein as counties, cities or cities and counties for <br />the purpose of defraying not to exceed one-half the cost of <br />acquiring rights of way or sites for public works projects <br />determined to be desirable in post-war public works programs of <br />such local agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the City of Redwood City, hereinafter designated <br /> <br /> <br />as "Local Agency", desires to submit its request for State aid <br /> <br /> <br />in the acquisition of a right of waJr or site under said act; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS a request to the State Allocation Board for such <br /> <br /> <br />aid has been prepared and presented to this legislative body <br /> <br />for considerationj and <br /> <br />vffiEREAS Local Agency has made provisions for paying one- <br />half or more of the cost of suoh ,acquisition; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency submit <br />the aforesaid request for acquisition aid to the State Allocation <br />Board for the state's share of the cost of such acquisition; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Local Agency hereby certifies <br />that the total estimated cost to be paid forthe acquisition of <br />the right of way or site for which it is requesting aid under <br />said act is $-11; ftrtJ .fI'fJ. ; and <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Local ,Agency h~reby requests <br />the state to pay the State's share of the total cost to be paid <br /> <br />-1- <br />
