REV: 07-08-22 MI <br />7. Develop Recommendations for Solid Waste Rates. Consultant shall develop a <br />memorandum of draft recommendations based on analysis of alternatives, impacts <br />and projections to proceed for City consideration. Consultant shall consider the <br />ideal amount of years for the City to adopt rates. Consultant shall work with the <br />City to incorporate revisions, as needed. <br />8. Utilities Sub-Committee Meeting. Consultant shall develop a PowerPoint <br />presentation to present summarizing key findings, alternatives and the <br />recommendation to the Utilities Sub-Committee. The presentation shall include <br />charts (or similar visual) where appropriate, such as a rate comparison with other <br />cities and graphics depicting the breakdown of revenue and expenses by type. <br />Consultant shall provide a draft to the City a minimum of two weeks prior to the <br />meeting to review the presentation and provide feedback for the Consultant to <br />incorporate. Consultant shall attend the meeting, either in-person or via video <br />conference (as requested by the City), to answer any questions and incorporate <br />input from the Utilities Sub-Committee into final recommendations, as needed. <br />9. City Council Study Session. Consultant shall develop a PowerPoint presentation <br />for a City Council Study Session summarizing key findings, alternatives and the <br />recommendation. Consultant shall provide a draft to the City a minimum of three <br />weeks prior to the meeting to review the presentation and provide feedback for the <br />Consultant to incorporate. Consultant shall attend the meeting, either in-person or <br />via video conference (as requested by the City), to receive input and answer <br />questions from the City Council and public and incorporate into final <br />recommendations, as needed. <br />10.As-Needed Additional Presentations. <br />a.If requested by the City, Consultant may develop a second PowerPoint <br />presentation to present to the Utilities Sub-Committee an update or revised <br />recommendations after the City Council Study Session. Consultant shall <br />provide a draft to the City a minimum of two weeks prior to the meeting to <br />review the presentation and provide feedback for the Consultant to <br />incorporate. Consultant shall attend the meeting, either in-person or via <br />video conference (as requested by the City), to answer any questions and <br />incorporate input from the Utilities Sub-Committee into final <br />recommendations, as needed. <br />b.If requested by the City, Consultant may develop a second PowerPoint <br />presentation to present to the City Council an update or revised <br />recommendations after the City Council Study Session.
