REV: 08-08-22 RL <br />Consultant Services Economic Resiliency Plan Goals <br />and Tasks <br />c. Maintain a list of invitees and attendees <br />including phone, email, and mailing <br />addresses. <br />d. Coordinate meeting with Chamber San <br />Mateo County <br />e. Preparing agenda in coordination with the <br />City and Chamber of Commerce. <br />f. Ensure that agendas include appropriate <br />attachments, information, etc. of interest <br />to Downtown Businesses. <br />g. Provide a short, written summary of each <br />meeting and coordinate follow-up as <br />needed with Downtown businesses. <br />6. Develop an annual needs survey of Downtown <br />businesses that is coordinated with the <br />Chamber of Commerce and Economic <br />Development staff for distribution to other <br />businesses in the City. <br />a. Provide the City with draft of survey for <br />final review and approval. <br />b. Compile survey responses with assistance <br />from City staff and prepare summary. <br />Surveys should provide another <br />communications tool for Downtown <br />businesses to impart feedback and <br />identify any issues and opportunities <br />that can affect the recovery of the <br />Downtown. <br />Facilitate regular discussions with <br />business community in coordination <br />with the City and Chamber. <br />Second payment in sixth month: $15,000 for Completion of Tasks 5 and 6 <br />7. Consultant to act as Parklet Liaison <br />a. Facilitate ongoing communication with the <br />Downtown businesses regarding the <br />development of the parklet program. <br />Coordinate communication with City’s <br />Economic Development Manager. <br />b. Compile business and restaurant interest <br />for the City’s proposed permanent parklet <br />program <br />c. Disseminate information to businesses; If <br />needed, convene in-person or virtual <br />meeting with businesses to provide an <br />overview of the proposed program and <br />solicit their feedback. <br />Exploring street closure of 2000 block of <br />Broadway to facilitate outdoor dining <br />using pre-approved parklet designs for <br />permanent parklets beyond <br />Extend temporary outdoor dining and <br />business activity program approved at <br />the November 22, 2021 City Council <br />meeting. <br />8. Upgrade the DBG website for to improve <br />functionality and access for downtown visitors. <br />9.
