REV: 08-05-22 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall provide the services under Tasks A, 1, 2d, 3, and 4a. Upon <br />mutual agreement, the Public Works Director or their designee may request any <br />of the additional following services. <br />Task A: Level 1 Validation <br />For each fiscal year for the contracted term, as requested by the Public Works Director <br />or their designee, Consultant shall provide Level 1 Validation, a process of reviewing <br />the annual water audit (detailed in the requirements set forth by the California <br />Department of Water Resources, Title 23 CCR § 700.3). <br />This task involves: <br />Data transfer: Consultant shall request the water audit and supporting <br />documentation necessary for level 1 validation from City staff. <br />Validation session: Consultant shall schedule and lead an interview with <br />appropriate City staff to confirm the inputs and Data Validity Grades, as <br />established by the California Water Code and American Water Works <br />Association (AWWA), provided in the water audit. <br />Documentation: Consultant shall furnish all necessary documentation for <br />compliance with the requirements set forth by the California Department of Water <br />Resources, Title 23 CCR § 700.3. <br />Task 1: Program Management <br />For each fiscal year for the contracted term, as requested by the Public Works Director <br />or their designee, Consultant shall set up systems of data collection and management, <br />track progress, and communicate frequently. <br />Consultant shall work to: <br />Understand the full context of and incentives for water loss control activity for the <br />City <br />Acknowledge past challenges and hurdles in managing water loss <br />Develop project communication and management approaches Provide monthly <br />updates on work complete (via invoicing) <br />Consultant program management services shall only be necessary for Tasks 2.a, 2.b, <br />2.c, 2.d, 2.e, 3.a, 3.b, 4.a, and 5. <br />Task 2: Water Audits & Data Sources <br />2. a. Water Audit Compilation & Reporting <br />If requested and approved by the Public Works Director or their designee, <br />Consultant shall compile a water audit in the AWWA Free Water Audit Software. <br />In this task, Consultant shall: <br />Collect and review water audit data (inclusive of all water audit inputs <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.231/E Source Companies, LLC (Water Loss Consultation Services) (Page 11 of 17)
