REV: 08-25-2022 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />TASKS <br />Consultant will provide project management to work with the Redwood City’s Director of <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department (PRCS) or their designee, to <br />help coordinate pre-construction activities associated with the PRCS Department’s <br />following capital improvement projects: <br />1. LED lighting retrofit for Hawes Field and Fair Oaks Field <br />2. National Fitness Campaign pod installation by the Redwood Shores Library <br />3. ADA pathway improvements at parks identified by the Director <br />4. Public art installations identified by the Director <br />5. Mitchell Field (Red Morton Park) infield improvement for Miracle League Baseball <br /> <br />The Consultant, working with and at the direction of the PRCS Director or their designee, <br />shall work with the appropriate representatives of contracted architecture/design firm <br />assigned to PRCS Department projects listed above, as needed, to prepare <br />project/construction communication protocol(s) to ensure all team members <br />communicate effectively and all relevant information and outcomes are community to <br />Director, its partners, architecture firm, contractors, and interested stakeholders in a <br />timely manner; receive and respond to issues or concerns raised by stakeholders, <br />including the general community, most directly affected by planning and pre-construction <br />efforts, prepare status reports or updates, as requested by the PRCS Director or their <br />designee; and support City staff at meetings with community/stakeholders. <br /> <br />1. DELIVERABLES <br />The performance of all services by the Consultant shall be to the satisfaction of the PRCS <br />Director or their designee. <br />1.1 The Consultant shall coordinate all services with and communications between the <br />PRCS Director or their designee, architecture firm, contractors, separate <br />consultants’, community stakeholders, and City staff, as required or directed by <br />Director. <br />1.2 The Consultant shall schedule and attend meetings, as necessary, or as directed by <br />PRCS Director or their designee, in order to complete all services to the satisfaction <br />of the PRCS Director or their designee. <br />1.3 The Consultant shall exercise its best professional efforts to ensure attendance and <br />participation of all appropriate project team resources at scheduled meetings to <br />assure best results and process buy-in. <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.317/KN Services, Inc.
