REV: 05-21-24 VR Exhibit “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE The activities described in the Original Agreement will be extended for an additional five months under this Amendment No. 2. The budget for the five-month period will include $180,000 for PAL Center staff. Additional expenses for Program Partners, Youth Stipends (including Summer Internships), and Contracted Mentors will be covered by unspent funds from Amendment No. 1. The exact amount of remaining funds from Amendment No. 1 will not be known until after the City receives the invoice for March15 to June 15, 2024, but is estimated to be approximately $100,000 due to youth stipends and contracted mentors that were anticipated to begin earlier but will not be implemented until after June 15. Any changes to the Budget must be approved by the City Manager or their designee in writing. City will pay Consultant on a quarterly basis for services through September 15, then a final billing on November 30, pursuant to invoices consistent with Section 6, Compensation, of the Original Agreement, that detail the work performed under each defined Goal, and which Deliverables have been met, in the preceding period. Staff costs include three full time staff members, hours worked by several part time staff members, and prorated charges for PACE work performed by PAL Center administrative staff, and are estimated to be approximately $30,000 - $35,000 per month, with higher charges during summer months when PACE activities and associated staffing levels increase. PAL Center will provide detailed invoices including the hours worked, salary, and benefit costs for these positions. Payment will be contingent upon the City Manager or their designee determining that sufficient progress has been made towards the Goals and Deliverables to warrant payment of that period’s installment.
