REV: 10-18-2022 RL <br />Consultant will conduct an in-depth assessor training session to guide evaluation of <br />assessment center exercises. Detailed rating guidelines with explicit behavioral <br />anchors will be developed to ensure accurate, reliable evaluations. Consultant will be <br />responsible for recruiting assessors in conjunction with the relevant Department. <br />Consultant will administer the assessment centers, schedule candidates, and make <br />all test materials for assessors and candidates. <br />The exact test schedule will be determined in conjunction with the relevant <br />Department. <br />Consultant will score the assessments conducted at assessment centers and provide <br />the Department with a rank-ordered lists of candidate performance along with <br />average candidate scores on exercises. <br /> <br />Consultant will train assessors to produce job-related notes during the testing process. <br />Consultant will use these notes to produce written feedback materials for candidates <br />regarding their performance in the assessment center exercises. <br />Consultant will provide documentation to refute any future challenges to the exams. <br />Task Costs <br />Cost for Fire Department Captain assessment: $10,000.00 <br />Cost for Fire Department Battalion Chief assessment:$10,000.00 <br />Cost for Police Department Sergeant assessment: $16,000.00 <br />o Cost for a custom designed multiple-choice test: $8,000 <br />o Cost for an assessment: $8,000 <br />Each task is paid at a flat rate, pursuant to Department request for Services under a <br />duly issued Task Order. <br />The prospective Department will be responsible for actual costs of assessor expenses <br />(including possible lodging expenses), food, test facilities, and computers. <br />Payment Terms <br />Consultant will perform Services pursuant to Task Orders as described in Section 1, <br />Scope of Work. Consultant will be paid the actual costs associated with the Services <br />requested in a given Task Order upon City receipt of an invoice for those Services, and <br />any attendant assessor costs, consistent with Section 6, Compensation. <br />ATTY/AGR.2022.338/Hargis & Associates (PD & FD Testing) (Page 12 of 13)
