REV: 04-10-20232 RL <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT AND CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />FOR INCREASE OF FUNDING <br />THIS AMENDMENT is made as of this day of January 11, 2023 by and between the <br />REDWOOD CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT(“RCSD”) and the City of Redwood City (“Contractor) <br />to provide services. <br />WITNESSETH <br />WHEREAS, the parties entered into an Agreement For Services Between the Redwood <br />City School District and the City of Redwood City for expanded learning services effective on <br />July 30, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $921,637.34; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties now desire to amend the Agreement to increase the Base <br />Compensation to reflect an increase in The Expanding Learning funding in contract to reflect the <br />state approved funding for Extended Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) for an additional <br />amount of $223,500.00 not to exceed an increased total amount of $1,145,137.34. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PARTIES HEREBY AGREE TO AMEND THE <br />AGREEMENT AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Section 3, Subsection A is hereby replaced in its entirety to read as follows: <br />A. “Base Compensation” (School Days) <br />The CONTRACTOR agrees to perform all services of this agreement during the school <br />days as established in the school calendar approved by the Governing Board and for an <br />Amount not to exceed $984,391.29 subject to the contingency provision in section 18 <br />of this Agreement.
