<br />'---- <br />\ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N o. 863 <br /> <br />APPROVING REVISION OF WATER RATES FOR <br />TERRITORY OUTSIDE REDWOOD CITY LIMITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS the Water Department of Redwood City has submitted <br />to the Counoil of Redwood City certain changes in-the Rules and <br />Regulations for Redwood City Water Department, approved Decem- <br />ber 15, 1947; and <br />WHEREAS the Counoil desires to approve said recommended <br /> <br />change s ; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Council of <br />Redwood City, as follows: <br />1. That the changes hereinafter set out, made in the Rules <br />and Regulations for Redwood City Water Department, approved Decem- <br />ber 15, 1947, effective January 1, 1948, be and the same are <br />hereby approved. <br />2. That Paragraphs (2) and (3) of Seotion 3, under the <br /> <br />heading of rates in said Rules and Regulations, are hereby changed <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />(2) The rates to be eh~ged and collected for <br />water supplied by the Redwood Oity Water Department <br />to consumers OUTSIDE the limits ot the City ot Red- <br />wood City, where no pu~ping or other e~tra expense <br />1s required to provide such service, are hereby <br />fixed as tollows: ' <br /> <br />For water delivered, based on monthly meter <br />readings: <br /> <br />( a) For "the tirst 3,300 cubic teet . . . 40~ per 100 <br />(b) For the next 30,000 tI II 35~ per 100 <br /> . . . <br />(o) For all above 33,300 " .. 30~ per 100 <br /> . . . <br /> <br />Provided, however, that the minimum amount tor <br />each month to be charged and collected tor service <br />through a water meter shall be as follows: <br /> <br />( a) For 5/8 inch meter <br />(b) For 3/4 inch meter . . <br />(0) For 1 inch meter . <br /> <br />. . . . . <br /> <br />$2.25 <br />2.80 <br /> <br />. . . . . <br /> <br />. . . . . . . <br /> <br />3.75 <br /> <br />-1- <br />
