The rates to be <br />charged and oollected for water distributed and <br />supplied by the Redwood City Water Department to <br />consumers OUTSIDE the limits of the City of Red- <br />wood City and where PUMPING or other extra expense <br />is required to provide such service, are hereby <br />fixed as follows: <br /> <br />For water delivered, based on monthly readings: <br /> <br />(a) For the first 1,000 cubic feet 55}t per 100 <br />(b) For the next 2,000 cubio feet SO~ per 100 <br />(c) For all above 3,000 cubic feet 4S~ per 100 <br /> <br />Provided, however, that the minimum amount for each <br />month to be charged and collected for service shall be <br />as follows: <br /> <br />(a) For S/8 inch meter . . . . . . $3.30 <br />(b) For 3/4 inch meter . . . . . . . . 3.85 <br />(c) For 1 inch meter . . . . . . . . . 4.40 <br /> <br />3. A new Section 3.1 is added .to said Rules and Regula- <br /> <br />tions, to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 3.1 SPECIAL RULES ]rOR ALL AREAS OUTSIDE <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />(I) NEW SERVICES. The Redwood City Water Depart- <br />ment reserves the right to determine the size of meter <br />and service connections. No new service connections <br />shall be added to any existing overloaded distribution <br />lines. Normally, 20 consumers shall constitute a max- <br />imum number of services connected to any 2 inch distri- <br />bution line or its equivalent. <br /> <br />(2) EXTENSION OF NEW MAINS. Where no mains <br />exist, new mains will be extended at oost of oon- <br />surner or applicant, provided pressure and supply <br />are adequate to warrant such extension, as deter- <br />mined by the Water Department. All installations <br />to be and remain the proper'ty of the Oi ty. <br /> <br />( :3 ) OTHER RULES AND REGULA'rI ON S . All 0 th er <br />rules and regulations of the Redwood City Water Depart- <br />ment not in confliot with the above shall apply to the <br />Emerald Lake Area and all o.ther outside oonsumers. <br /> <br />4.
