REV: 11-09-23 VR <br />Exhibit “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Permitting, Bid/Negotiation, and Construction Administration Phases for Hoover Park Renovation <br />1)GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall perform Construction Document Design Phase, Permitting, Bid/Negotiation assistance, <br />and Construction Administration services for the Hoover Park Renovation as set forth in this Exhibit “A”. <br />2)PRELIMINARY POST-DESIGN SCHEDULE <br />The following represents a preliminary schedule for the Permitting, Bid/Negotiation, and <br />Construction Administration Phases. Consultant understands that this schedule may require <br />adjustment when the final construction schedule is agreed upon between the builder and the City. <br />Any corresponding change to the services and · fees outlined herein shall require a further <br />amendment. <br />SCHEDULE / PHASE OF SERVICE: <br />Construction Document Design Phase 6 Months <br />Department of State Architect Review Phase variable, expected to be 6 months <br />Permitting/BID/Negotiation Phase 4 Months <br />Construction Administration Phase 12 Months <br />3)CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENT DESIGN PHASE <br />As part of this effort, Consultant will also be coordinating multiple sub-consultants’ scope of work <br />including a qualified aquatic design firm’s scope of work for the aquatic components, a qualified <br />electrical engineering firm’s work for the site lighting and electrical engineering and assisting the City <br />with coordinating submittals to DSA (Division of the State Architect) and other governmental authorities. <br />The detailed scope of work below includes all the above disciplines: <br />a)Task 1: Design Development Phase – Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering <br />Following approval of the masterplan, Consultant’s design team will take those docs as the basis of <br />design and move them into design development level deliverables. This phase includes the following: <br />i) Project information <br />ii) Conceptual Grading and Drainage Plan (includes sizing of swales as part of stormwater treatment <br />design) <br />iii) Preliminary Utilities Plan <br />iv) Layout & Materials Plan <br />v) Irrigation Design Intent Plan <br />vi) Irrigation design <br />vii) Irrigation schedules <br />viii) Planting Design Plan (including MWELO calculations). <br />ix) Key Construction details (city standards will be used, where applicable) <br />x) Coordination with sub-consultants as necessary. <br />xi) Technical Specifications (Outline Specifications Only) <br />xii) Updated Engineer’s Cost Opinion Estimate and quantities. <br />xiii) Submittal of documents to City for approval. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023/Amend.
