Consultant shall implement noise
mitigation measures for this project. Consultant shall use direct push drill rigs, electric
generators, and other equipment specified in Exhibit A and make reasonable efforts to
comply with direction given by the Public Works Director or designee throughout the
project. Panels shall
reduce noise levels at ground level and shall be angled to reduce noise levels
above ground. Extra noise soaker panels shall be available on Site as needed,
with up to two layers of noise soaker panels available total. As requested by the
Public Works Director or designee, where feasible and safe, Consultant shall vary
the distance from the equipment, angle, and/or amount of the noise soaker panels
to optimize noise mitigation.
Using electric pumps
Sequencing the location of work to be closer or farther from Jefferson Ave and
Franklin St during working hours approved by the Public Works Director or
designee.
Consultant shall have a decibel meter app periodically deployed at various areas
around the Site to measure noise levels. The Public Works Director or designee
may request additional, as-needed deployment of the decibel meter app. Prior to
mobilization, Consultant shall propose a plan for when additional noise soaker
panels shall be erected.
Any additional noise mitigation measures that may be necessary throughout the course of
the project shall be discussed with and approved by the Public Works Director or designee
and may require amendments to work plans.
f. Daily Report
Consultant shall provide daily summaries (by email or Teams, as determined by the Public
Works Director or designee), which shall include status updates and any adjustments as
a result of utilities, structural issues, reagent surfacing, adjusted location of injection
points, etc.
g.
