Only one argument in favor <br />of and one argument against each measure will be selected for printing and distribution to the voters. <br />No more than five signatures shall appear with any argument. <br />The authors of both the primary arguments in favor of or against each measure that have been selected <br />to be printed in the voter information guide may prepare and submit rebuttal arguments not exceeding <br />250 words. The authors may authorize in writing any other person or persons to prepare, submit, or sign <br />the rebuttal arguments. No more than five signatures shall appear with any rebuttal arguments. <br />All arguments must be accompanied by the original signatures of the authors, and therefore must be <br />submitted in-person. Contact the City Clerk Pamela Aguilar at (650)780-7220 or <br />paguilar@redwoodcity.arg to schedule an appointment to submit arguments before the deadline. <br />NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that there shall be set a 10 -calendar day examination period for public <br />review of said arguments. During this time, any registered voter, eligible to vote on the measure, or the <br />elections official, may seek a writ of mandate or an injunction requiring any or all of the materials to be <br />amended or deleted. The review period for primary arguments in favor of or against the ballot <br />measures shall commence at 5:00 P.M. on August 19, 2022 and shall end at 5:00 P.M. on August 29, <br />2022.
