REV: 3-24-2023 RL <br />potholing and site restoration. Consultant shall submit a summary report describing <br />all pothole location findings in Excel format electronically. <br /> 2.2. Contract Documents <br />Consultant shall compile all gathered information and prepare 65% design, 95% <br />design and final contract documents. <br />2.2.1. 65% Design Submittal <br />Consultant shall use all appropriate City Engineering Standards including, but not <br />limited to, details for valves, valve extensions, valve boxes and covers, thrust and <br />anchor blocks, and corrosion protection in the design. If additional details outside <br />of the City’s Engineering Standards are deemed necessary, Consultant will inform <br />City staff prior to developing any details. Any new details shall be submitted for <br />review and approval by City staff. <br />Consultant shall include all necessary temporary bypass plan guidelines and <br />details in the design submittal. Consultant shall review and identify required <br />permits during design. Consultant shall prepare typical traffic control details for <br />single lane and/or full road closures (as required) for contractor’s use in preparing <br />a traffic control plan and obtaining required permits from the City. Consultant’s <br />schedule shall allow for a minimum three-week review period by City staff following <br />the submission of the 65% design submittal. <br />This stage of work will include: <br />• Preparing 65% Plans and Specifications - Consultant shall prepare cover sheet, <br />general notes, plan and profile sheets, typical details, traffic control details, and <br />technical specifications. <br />• Preparing 65% Opinion of Probable Construction Cost - Consultant shall prepare <br />a bid schedule and estimated construction cost based on the recent similar bid <br />quotations received for local jobs. <br />• City Review Meeting at 65% Design Submittal - Consultant shall meet with the <br />City to receive the 65% review comments and discuss any conflicting comments. <br />2.2.2. 95% Design Submittal <br />Consultant shall advance 65% design plans, specifications and estimate for 95% <br />design submittal.
