Consultant’s schedule shall allow for a minimum <br />three-week review period by City staff following submission of the 95% design <br />submittal. <br />This stage of work will include: <br />• Preparing 95% Plans and Specifications - Consultant shall update drawings and <br />specifications incorporating City staff comments. Consultant shall continue to <br />develop the construction drawings to include additional details and the City’s <br />boilerplate contract document to the technical specifications. <br />• Preparing 95% Opinion of Probable Construction Cost - Consultant shall update <br />the bid schedule and construction cost estimate based on the comments received <br />for the 95% contract documents and provide a detailed 95% Opinion of Probable <br />Construction Cost. <br />2.2.3. Bid Documents <br />Consultant shall prepare and submit bid-ready construction documents, signed by <br />a California Registered Professional Engineer, based on the City’s 95% design <br />submittal review comments. Consultant shall submit an electronic (PDF) copy, <br />formatted in both half-size and full-size, of the bid submittal. <br />The PDF version of the design drawings will include Consultant’s professional <br />engineering stamp and signature. In addition, Consultant shall submit: AutoCAD <br />(version 2010 or higher) files for all design drawings, technical specifications in MS <br />Word and PDF formats with Consultant’s professional engineering stamp and <br />signature in the PDF file, cost estimates in MS Excel and PDF formats, and the <br />construction schedule in MS Excel. <br />• Final, detailed drawings and technical specification to be included in the contract <br />documents <br />• Final bid item schedule for incorporation into the final contract bid documents <br />• Revised/updated cost estimate based on the 95% design submittal <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.062/BKF Engineers (Redwood Shores Isolation Valve) (Page 14 of 17)
