REV: 03-10-23 JB <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Upon written request of the City Engineering through issuance of a Task Order, <br />Consultant shall perform services, which may include: <br />DEVELOP PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THROUGH FINAL DESIGN AND <br />PREPARATION OF BID PACKAGE <br />A. Perform initial site assessments including existing site plans, utility conflict <br />analysis, arborist reports, engineering data or other documents as required <br />B. DEVELOP INITIAL DESIGN (50% DESIGN SUBMITTAL) <br />a) This initial design will be used as the basis for the development of the Final <br />Design. The tasks include, but are not limited to, the following: <br />b) Develop 50% Design Submittal which shall include, but not limited to, <br />demolition plan, site grading and piping plan, general and construction <br />notes, construction phasing options, construction details, outline technical <br />specifications, possible staging areas, temporary construction easements, <br />and estimate of construction costs. The design calculations and analysis <br />should include all final engineering calculations, any miscellaneous <br />technical data, maintenance considerations and catalogue cuts for any <br />special equipment. <br />c) Contact utilities agencies and coordinate relocation, if necessary. Show <br />potential relocated utilities on drawings. <br />d) Deliver 50% drawings to Project Engineer for review. <br />C.DEVELOP PRE-FINAL DESIGN (90% DESIGN SUBMITTAL) The tasks include, but <br />are not limited to, the following: <br />a) Incorporate 50% Design Submittal review comments. <br />b) Develop 90% Design Submittal which shall include, but not limited to, <br />demolition plan, site grading and piping plan, general and construction <br />notes, construction phasing options, connection details, structural details, <br />technical specifications, possible staging areas, temporary construction <br />easements, plan and profile drawings and estimate of construction <br />costs. The design calculations and analysis should include all final <br />engineering calculations, any miscellaneous technical data, maintenance <br />considerations and catalogue cuts for any special equipment. <br />c) Coordinate and submit permit application(s) along with necessary <br />drawings/exhibits to obtain the permit(s) for the project as necessary. <br />d) Deliver 90% drawings to Project Engineer for review. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.041/Verde Design (Oncall Services) (Page 11 of 17)
