REV: 03-10-23 JB <br />D. DEVELOP FINAL DESIGN (100% DESIGN SUBMITTAL) <br />a) Incorporate 90% Design Submittal review comments <br />b) Prepare 100% Design Submittal consisting of complete construction <br />documents, including drawings, specifications and cost estimates <br />c) The 100% Design Submittal shall be ready for signature and submitted to <br />the City for review and approval. A marked set will be returned along with <br />staff’s comments and/or request for clarifications for revision <br />d) Coordinate required permits and clearances. <br />e) Consultant shall furnish one (1) set of full-size plans and specifications for <br />the project. Both sets of documents shall bear the responsible engineer’s <br />wet stamp and signature with a license expiration date. Consultant shall <br />also furnish an electronic copy of the drawings in AutoCAD (version 2013 <br />or earlier) and in PDF format, specifications in Word, cost estimate, and <br />probable construction schedule in Excel. <br />E.BID SUPPORT AND CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br />f) The following services shall be provided during the bidding process and <br />construction phase of the project. <br />g) Provide design clarification responses during bid phase. <br />h) Provide signed conformed contract document set incorporating addenda <br />issued during the bid process and other changes subsequent to the 100% <br />Design Submittal. <br />i) Attend and conduct pre-bid meeting. Respond to questions from <br />prospective bidders. Assist in issuing addenda, as directed by the City. <br />j) Conduct site visits during construction at appropriate stages, amount of visits <br />approved by City. <br />k) Attend, participate and review project at the pre-construction meeting. <br />l) Review shop drawings submittals, change order requests, requests for <br />information, and provide written recommendations to the City. <br />m) Participate in the final inspection and assist with punch list of deficiencies. <br />n) Prepare “As-Built” drawings based on construction field notes and limited <br />field review by the Consultant. <br />o) Deliverables: <br />Consultant shall furnish one (1) set of full-size plans. Provide digital copies <br />of final specifications, cost estimate and plans in native format (Word, Excel <br />and AutoCAD) <br />MANAGEMENT SERVICES. <br />Project and construction management for a variety of public facilities. The selected <br />consultant(s) shall assign qualified engineering staff to serve as the Project <br />Manager/Resident Engineer (“PM/RE”) during the design and/or construction of <br />capital improvement projects and be responsible for ensuring the completion of work <br />by overseeing consultant and/or contractor’s activities.
