REV: 06-08-23 MI <br />“ ”EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Scope of Services <br />The City Attorney requires the as-needed services of an outside expert to evaluate and <br />provide support in responding to matters related to Occupational Health and Safety <br />Administration (OSHA) compliance. As such, Consultant’s services will be subject to <br />evidentiary protections under the attorney work product doctrine and/or attorney-client <br />privilege, and all writing communications should be appropriately marked to preserve <br />those protections. <br />At the request of the City, support activities may include: <br />Document review <br />Drafting deliverables <br />Attending on-site or virtual meetings <br />Developing written compliance programs standard operating procedures and work <br />orders, training curriculum, or training documentation <br />Support may be provided in person or remotely, depending on the location of the resource <br />and City’s preference. <br />Fee <br />Consultant shall bill City on a time and materials basis per the fee schedule below in an <br />amount not to exceed Twenty-Six Thousand Dollars ($26,000). Invoices shall be billed <br />monthly with Net 30 payment terms, in a form consistent with Section 6, Compensation. <br />Position Hourly Rate <br />Principal, Industrial Hygiene & Safety $339 <br />Associate Principal $295 <br />Senior Consultant $269 <br />Consultant, Industrial Hygiene & Safety $239 <br />Consulting Specialist $188 <br />Consulting Technician $159 <br />Project Assistant $112 <br />Project costs (e.g. parking, photocopying, drawing reproduction, equipment rental) <br />and travel costs (e.g., airfare, car rental, hotel, per diem) will be billed at cost plus <br />20% <br />Mileage will be billed at $0.80 per mile <br />Overtime will be billed at 1.5 x Hourly Rate if exceeding 8 hours in an hourly shift <br />Double time will be billed at 2.0 x Hourly Rate if working more than 12 hours in an <br />hourly shift <br />Travel time is billed as straight time from the nearest Consultant office <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.126/Citadel Environmental Services, Inc.
