<br />such sources to the Regional Water System through interties with the Santa Clara Valley Water <br />District and the East Bay Municipal Utility District. In-Line Meters measure internal system flows <br />and are located on the Bay Division Pipelines and other main transmission pipelines. These <br />meters are collectively referred to as the "System Input and In-line Meters." Similar to the <br />County-Line Meters, the System Input and In-Line Meters have secondary metering equipment, <br />such as differential pressure transmitters and flow recorders. The System Input and In-Line <br />Meters, and all associated secondary metering equipment, shall be calibrated and maintained <br />according to the method, schedule, and frequency specified in the Procedures Manual <br />described in subsection G, below. <br /> <br />F. The locations of the smaller and more numerous meters described in subsection <br />B (4) and (5) are not illustrated in Attachment J; however, they are also critical in the <br />determination of cost allocations, and accordingly require continued maintenance and <br />calibration. It is the responsibility of the SFPUC to maintain the accuracy of these meters and <br />their secondary metering equipment. <br /> <br />G. The SFPUC will prepare a Procedures Manual which will describe in detail the <br />procedures for periodic inspection, testing, servicing and calibration of the measuring and <br />recording equipment described in subsection B. Once the Procedures Manual is completed, the <br />SFPUC and BAWSCA may agree that it should supersede some or all of the requirements in <br />Attachment J regarding the County-Line and the In-City Terminal Reservoir Meters. Unless and <br />until such an agreement is reached and documented, however, the requirements in <br />Attachment J, Section D will continue in force as minimum standards for meter maintenance <br />and calibration of the County-Line and In-City Terminal ReserVoir Meters (subject to <br />modification under the circumstances described in Attachment J, Section AA). <br /> <br />H. If BAWSCA and the SFPUC are unable to agree on the water use calculations <br />required by Attachment J for a particular year, the Wholesale Customers may file a demand for <br />arbitration challenging the' SFPUC's determination of the Wholesale Revenue Requirement for <br />that year on the basis of its reliance on disputed water use calculations. Such a challenge must <br />be brought in the manner and within the time specified in Section 8.01. <br /> <br />3.15 New So'urces of Water Supplv to Maintain Supplv Assurance <br /> <br />A.
