2 of 5 <br /> WHEREAS, San Francisco and Redwood City desire to amend the Contract, pursuant to <br />Section 2.03.D of the WSA, on the terms and conditions set forth herein, in order to (1) adjust <br />Redwood City’s service area boundary as shown on the new map designated as Exhibit A-1, <br />which is attached to this Amendment as Attachment 1, to reflect Redwood City’s agreement with <br />Cal Water to transfer water service for seven customers located on Godetia Drive in Woodside, <br />California, and (2) revise the list of Redwood City’s interties with other water systems as shown <br />on new Exhibit C-1, which is attached to this Amendment as Attachment 2; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, San Francisco and Redwood City agree as follows: <br /> <br />Article 1 Definitions <br /> <br />The following definitions shall apply to this Amendment: <br /> <br />1.1 Contract. The term “Contract” shall mean the Individual Water Sales Contract dated <br />July 1, 2009 between San Francisco and Redwood City. <br /> <br />1.2 Other Terms. Terms used and not defined in this Amendment shall have the meanings <br />assigned to such terms in the Contract. <br /> <br />Article 2 Modifications to the Contract <br /> <br />The Contract is hereby modified as follows: <br /> <br />2.1 Exhibit A. Exhibit A, “Service Area Map,” is hereby replaced in its entirety by Exhibit <br />A-1, attached to this Amendment and fully incorporated within the Contract. To the extent the <br />Contract refers to Exhibit A in any place, the true meaning shall be Exhibit A-1, which is a <br />correct and updated version. <br /> <br />2.2 Exhibit C. Exhibit C, “Emergency Connections with Other Water Systems,” is hereby <br />replaced in its entirety by Exhibit C-1, attached to this Amendment and fully incorporated within <br />the Contract. To the extent the Contract refers to Exhibit C in any place, the true meaning shall <br />be Exhibit C-1, which is a correct and updated version. <br /> <br />Article 3 Effective Date <br /> <br /> Each of the modifications set forth in Article 2 shall be effective on and after the date of <br />this Amendment. <br /> <br />Article 4 Legal Effect <br /> <br /> Except as expressly modified by this Amendment, all of the terms and conditions of the <br />Contract shall remain unchanged and in full force and effect. <br />DocuSign Envelope ID: 13C5EE4A-8919-48E0-95C6-78C933A116AD
