The proposed Zoning Code Amendments <br />and Zoning Map Amendments have been reviewed with respect to applicability of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") and the State CEQA Guidelines (California <br />Code of Regulations, Title 14, Sections 15000 et seq.). A Program EIR was prepared for <br />updates to the General Plan and the proposed Zoning Code Amendments and Zoning <br />Map amendments were analyzed, contemplated by, and are consistent with the program <br />analyzed in the EIR under CEQA Guidelines 15168(c). The Final EIR, incorporated herein <br />by reference, was certified (SCH# 2022100449) and includes a statement of overriding <br />considerations and a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program which remain <br />applicable. <br />Section 4. Recommendation of Ordinance. The Planning Commission of the <br />City of Redwood City hereby recommends that the City Council adopt an Ordinance to <br />amend the Zoning Code as provided in Exhibit “A”, and Zoning Map Amendments as <br />provided in Exhibit “B” attached hereto and incorporated by reference, by adding text <br />shown in underline (example) and deleting the text shown in strikeout (example). Wording <br />in brackets ([example]) is informational only and is not to be included in the published <br />ordinance. <br />Section 5. Effective Date.
