REV: 06-26-2023 RL <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant shall work closely with City Library staff to gain an understanding of the project <br />goals, the Library building and its history, library programming, staff functions, vendor and <br />delivery uses, public uses and neighboring property uses, and the needs of each to identify <br />the most efficient and equitable manner to deliver Library services by expanding the <br />Library building (“Needs Assessment”). The Consultant will provide a Needs Assessment, <br />including recommendations, renderings, and cost estimates, that is supported by <br />community and staff input, which includes a study of similar uses by other public libraries <br />and best practices. <br />Approximate timeline, with specific dates to be determined by the Library Director <br />based on Consultant and City staff availability. <br />Tasks. Consultant shall perform the Services and complete the below tasks within 160 <br />days of contract award – this includes the time required to conduct public outreach and <br />ensure the tasks to be completed have incorporated changes from the City and have been <br />approved. Requests to extend tasks beyond the 160 day period from contract award date <br />must be made in writing and approved by the Library Director. <br />1.
