REV: 08-03-2023 RL EXHIBIT “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Library Park Veranda and Maker Space Consultant shall develop a conceptual plan for a Maker’s Space and Veranda addition to the Downtown Library Building. This scope excludes building code analysis. Task 1: Architectural Sketches for Maker’s Space and Veranda Addition Subtask 1.1: Project Kickoff and Programming Consultant will work with City staff to start the project off by developing a thorough understanding of the project goals and measurable objectives. Consultant will use this initial meeting to also review the expected program requirements with City staff. This discussion will be documented in meeting minutes. Deliverables: • List of project goals and measurable objectives • Develop an anticipated timeline with critical milestones and associated deliverables • Identify any potential risks if any and how to respond, avoid or mitigate them • Identify communication protocol and responsibilities • Meeting minutes that includes a space program statement, capturing equipment and other operational requirements Meetings: • One (1) on-site meeting: one to two (1-2) hours in combination with existing condition verification meeting Fixed Fee $5,240 Subtask 1.2: Existing Condition Verification Consultant will investigate the existing site and building conditions to document opportunities and constraints for repurposing the building interior, including a preliminary review of structural systems, HVAC systems, lighting, and electrical systems based on the provided facility assessment report and user input.
