The ACH operates a “Wellness Fund” or other community-led vehicle as a mechanism for attracting, braiding, and blending resources from a variety of organizations and sectors, to support the ACH’s infrastructure and Portfolio of Actions. • The ACH will research possible ways to create a “Wellness Fund”, through conversations with local funding partners (such as the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative, the Sand Hill Foundation, and others). • The ACH and Redwood City Together will explore the possibility with leadership at the City of Redwood City, RCT’s fiscal sponsor. • Once operational, the ACH will set fundraising goals and identify prospective funders and funding needs • RCT will lead fundraising efforts, submitting joint proposals to like-minded funding entities to support the ACH’s work. The ACH will create a fundraising sub- committee to pursue corporate funding (and in- kind support), as well as lead fundraising campaigns and events. • The ACH will design sustainability goals and plans to support the group’s work after the CACHI grant expires. These will include (but will not be not limited to) grant collaborations, corporate donations, individual giving campaigns, and fundraising events.
