REV: 10-05-23 VR <br />Task 2 – Fire Prevention Bureau <br />Consultant will provide advice as needed to the Fire Department for management <br />consulting services regarding fire department organizational analysis, including, but not <br />limited to: <br />FIRE PREVENTION BUREAU ANALYSIS AND STRATEGIC PLAN <br />Perform gap analysis of the current City fire prevention bureau model to that of <br />contemporary California municipal fire prevention requirements transitioning to a <br />Community Risk Reduction model of Best Practices. <br />Recommend fire prevention bureau organizational structures, methodologies, and <br />resources that comport with management, administration, and operational <br />functions and mandates to accomplish organizational objectives in Community <br />Risk Reduction Modeling Best Practices. <br />Prepare recommendations to staff and policymakers, as required, to facilitate <br />informed decisions in establishing and effecting the proper fire prevention service <br />delivery level. <br />Prepare and deliver a comprehensive, concise, and independent strategic plan, <br />after obtaining information from staff and fire department. <br />Consultant will be paid an hourly rate of $495, not-to-exceed 30 hours. <br />The total amount for this Task 2 is not to exceed $15,000. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.246/Weingerber Consulting (Weingerber Agreement) (Page 12 of 13)
