REV: 10-02-23 MI <br />“ ”EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant shall develop a revised Trash Load Reduction Plan and recommend control <br />actions to achieve the required benchmarks for the City. Specific task that the Consultant <br />shall perform are outlined below. <br />– Task 1 Review City Documents <br />Consultant shall review and analyze all existing documents related to trash control <br />measure planning in the City. Consultant shall review the following City documents: <br />Baseline Trash Generation Area Maps; <br />2022-23 Stormwater Annual Report, current trash load reductions; <br />2023 Updated Trash Load Reduction Plan; <br />Properties identified as having private inlets that drain to the City’s storm drain <br />system (i.e., PLDAs); <br />Information on the types and locations of installed and planned devices; <br />On-land Visual Trash Assessment (OVTA) results; and <br />Other documents as deemed necessary. <br />Upon completion of review, the Consultant shall meet with the Public Works <br />Superintendent, Wastewater and further outline the recommended approach to identify <br />new types and locations of trash control actions. <br />Deliverables: Meeting Summary. <br />Task 2- Recommend New Trash Load Reduction Control Actions to Achieve 100% <br />Benchmark <br />A. Identify Public ROW Areas that are Confidently Achieving the Low Trash Generation <br />Goal <br />Consultant shall review existing OVTA data collected through San Mateo <br />Countywide Water Pollution Prevention Program (SMCWPPP) and conduct virtual <br />OVTAs via desktop approaches in areas not previously assessed to identify public <br />right-of-way (ROW) areas that are confidentially achieving the Municipal Regional <br />Permit (MRP) low trash generation goal. OVTAs conducted via SMCWPPP will <br />continue (or be established) and demonstrate that these areas are achieving the <br />MRP low trash generation goal. Once the low trash generating areas are identified, <br />Consultant shall meet with the Public Works Superintendent, Wastewater to <br />discuss the results and receive input. <br />ATTY/AGR.2023.243/EOA, INC.
