Sec. 9.123 SECTION 715.1 OF THE PLUMBING CODE AMENDED: Section <br />715.1 of the Plumbing Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 715.1 (a) The building sewer, beginning two (2) feet (.6m) from any <br /> building or structure, shall be of such materials as may be approved by the <br /> Administrative Authority under the approval procedures set forth in Chapter 3 of <br /> this Code. Metallic piping shall not be used underground in those areas <br /> underlain by Younger Bay Mud (see map published by Redwood City Building <br /> Division for approximate locations). <br /> <br /> Sec. 9.124 SECTION 903.1.3 OF THE PLUMBING CODE ADDED: Section <br />903.1.3 is hereby added to the Plumbing Code as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 903.1.3. Metallic piping shall not be used underground in those areas <br /> underlain by Younger Bay Mud (see map published by Redwood City Building <br /> Division for approximate locations). <br /> <br /> Sec. 9.125 SECTION 1101.3.1 OF THE PLUMBING CODE ADDED: Section <br /> 1101.3.1 is hereby added to the Plumbing Code as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1101.3.1. Rainwater piping located underground within a building shall <br /> be of service weight cast iron soil pipe, Type DVVV copper tube, Schedule 40 <br /> ABS DWV or Schedule 40 PVC, DVVV, extra strength vitrified clay pipe, or other <br /> approved materials. Metallic piping shall not be used underground in those <br /> areas underlain by Younger Bay Mud (see map published by Redwood City <br /> Building Division for approximate locations). <br /> <br /> Sec. 9.126 SECTION 1210.1.2 OF THE PLUMBING CODE ADDED: Section <br /> 1210.1.1 is hereby added to the Plumbing Code as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1210.1.2. Metallic piping shall not be used underground in those areas <br /> underlain by Younger Bay Mud (see map published by Redwood City Building <br /> Division for approximate locations). <br /> <br /> Secs. 9.127 - 9.137.
