REV: 12-08-23 SK <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Consultant shall provide sanitary sewer flow and rainfall monitoring services as part of <br />the City’s annual sanitary sewer flow monitoring program as described in more detail <br />below. <br />Task Description <br />Task 1. Perform field reconnaissance and document review: <br />Consultant shall review plans and documents provided by the City and shall <br />conduct field reconnaissance of the proposed flow monitoring sites <br />identified by the City. The reconnaissance shall assess hydraulic conditions, <br />manhole access, traffic control requirements, and safety issues for each <br />site. Equipment safety is the sole responsibility of the Consultant. No <br />modifications to the proposed meter sites shall be made without prior review <br />and approval by the City. <br />Deliverable: <br />Consultant shall submit documentation of site reconnaissance and final <br />flow monitoring sites to the City before the project kick-off meeting. <br />Task 2. Installation/Calibration/Maintenance/Removal of Equipment: <br />The ten (10) flow meters will be area-velocity type capable of measuring <br />flows and flow depths under surcharge conditions. Pipe diameters will range <br />from approximately 10 to 60 inches. The two (2) rain gauges will be tipping <br />bucket type capable of recording to 0.01 inches. Alternative locations for the <br />equipment may be made by the Consultant with review and written approval <br />by the City.
