REV: 11-15-23 SK EXHIBIT “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE The scope of work is to develop Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E) phase and supplement community outreach for two corridors under the project “Access to Downtown Bikeway Corridors” (the “Project”): • Vera Avenue from El Camino Real to Alameda de las Pulgas. • Broadway between Walnut Street and Woodside Road. These two corridors are identified in RWCMoves, the 2018 Citywide Transportation Plan, as part of the “Bicycle Backbone Network” that connect neighborhoods west and south of downtown to the downtown area and transit center and create safe, seamless, and convenient bike access to many destinations in the area. SCOPE OF WORK Task 1 – Project Management and Administration Consultant project manager will provide project management oversight of the Consultant project team’s activities and coordinate with the City, and other stakeholders throughout the Project’s duration. This does not include the construction phase of the project. It is assumed the outreach and design phases of the Project will take 12-month design and outreach duration from the Executive Date of the Agreement. »Kick-Off Meeting: Consultant will have one (1) kick-off meeting for each roadway segment (Broadway and Vera Avenue). »Bi-Weekly Meetings: Consultant will participate in monthly design coordination meetings during the design phase of this project. Ahead of these meetings, Consultant will develop short bullet-point agendas as needed. It is anticipated that two (2) Consultant staff will be present on these calls. Consultant will take and distribute meeting minutes after each meeting to the City. »Project Coordination: Consultant project manager and task managers will supervise, coordinate, and monitor the planning and design of the Project for conformance with standards and policies established between the City and the Consultant at the beginning of the Project. Consultant shall coordinate with the City, stakeholders, and with various planning and design functional groups for the delivery of products. In addition, Consultant will maintain an accessible project folder for City staff and project design team to share files and work collaboratively. »Project Administration: Consultant staff’s administration efforts will include initial development of work plan, filing system, and processing timely invoices. It is assumed that all the meetings will be handled via conference call, including the kick-off meeting. As part of this task, Consultant will prepare invoicing, billing, and summary reports.
