CONDUCT AND ACTIVITIES PROHIBITED UNLESS PERMIT <br />GRANTED <br />Without written permission of the City Manager or his or her designee(s), no person on <br />the premise of Courthouse Square shall: <br /> <br />B. Camp or lodge therein at any time, or otherwise remain overnight; <br /> <br />C. Create a fire using an electric appliance, liquid fuel device, wood/charcoal <br />barbeque or by any other means except candles, which shall be used in <br />accordance with the Redwood City's Fire Code: <br /> <br />D. Drive or place motorized vehicles onto the Square f(jr any reason; <br /> <br />E. Ride, store or operate a skateboard, bic~d~Ji' :,in~line skates, and other non- <br />motorized wheel devices with the exception of those with wheelchairs, adaptive <br />aids and strollers; <br /> <br />F. Hitch, fasten, lead, or release any animal lhclu~ing",fish or fow. of any kind, <br />provided that this shall not apply to dogs, birds, reptiles, or cats when 1ad by a <br />leash or tether of, not more than six feet long and attended at all times; <br /> <br />G. Leave a bicycle in a place other than a bicycle rack when such is provided and <br />there is a space available; <br /> <br />H. Release balloonsi,tM:at are either biodegradable qr photodegradable or any <br />materials which requires more than five minutes' contact with air or water to <br />degrade, at1~ which are closed by a hand-t}.ed knot in the stem of the balloon <br />without string, ribbon, or other attachments. In the event that any balloons are <br />released pursuant to, the exemption est~blished in this paragraph, the party <br />re~~tt:sible for the retease shall make available to any law enforcement officer <br />e\tldence of the biodegradability or photo degradability of said balloons in the <br />form of a certificate executed by the manufacturer. Failure to provide said <br />evidence shall be prima fac.ie evidence of a violation of this act. <br /> <br />I. Sell or distribute commercial food, beverage, merchandise or products; <br /> <br />J. Store personal property; or <br /> <br />K. Use or demohstrate fireworks or any other pyrotechnic devices; <br /> <br />SECTION VII. PENALTIES AND FINES <br />Any person violating any provision of this Chapter or any amendment thereto, or <br />violating the terms of any permit issued pursuant thereto, shall be guilty of an infraction <br />and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article 1, <br />Section 1.78. <br /> <br />Page 1 J of J I <br />
