<br />6.18 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />reported on the results of Tremco Weatherproofing Technologies testing of the Ringer Plant <br />roof and is awaiting their written report. <br /> <br />Ms. Nanik gave an election update. Mr. Krivanek, Mr. Kile and Ms. Moyer have all been <br />nominated for re-election in their respective Sub-Regions. And Ms. Schmitt has been nominated <br />for the vacant seat in Sub-Region 1. Ballots have gone out and are due back on December 7, <br />2007. <br /> <br />Mr. Krivanek moved, seconded by Mr. Kile to begin the application process to Charter an NJPA <br />Credit Union. Motion carried with Mr. Meyer and Mr. Wolden voting nay. <br /> <br />Mr. Nytes reported on "Bridges" a pilot project approved by the Minnesota House of <br />Representatives with appropriations of zero dollars. He stated that the Brainerd Lakes Chamber <br />of Commerce employed a director for this program after it had passed the House, but then later <br />found there was no appropriation for the project. They have asked NJPA to employ such <br />director which the Board declined. This also led into discussion of other entities asking for <br />"donations" and the Board consensus not to entertain any such requests. The Board <br />recommends a Policy be drafted regarding Advertising Criteria to be followed for any future <br />requests. <br /> <br />Mr. Nytes reported on the upcoming AEPA meeting and announced NJPA having registered the <br />Association of Educational Purchasing Agencies (AEPA) name. <br /> <br />A Proposed Codicil to the Executive Director Employment Contract was presented as <br />informational only at this time. <br /> <br />Mr. Kile moved, seconded by Ms. Moyer to approve going out to bid with the Gordian Group <br />Professional Services for Job Order Contracting. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Ms. Moyer moved, seconded by Mr. Krivanek to adjourn the meeting at 8:31 p.m. Motion <br />ca rried. <br />
