<br />6.1D <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of Amendment No.2 to the Agreement with The Kastrop <br />Group in the amount of $25,000.00 to provide construction administration services, <br />particularly mechanical and structural engineering oversight of the roof mounted HVAC <br />installation. This includes reviewing submittals and progress payments, responding to <br />inquiries from the contractor, attending weekly construction meetings and preparing final <br />record drawings. <br /> <br />AL TERNA TIVES <br />Council may choose not to approve Amendment No.2 to this agreement and direct staff <br />to modify the scope of work and/or select another consultant. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Project funds have been appropriated as Capital Projects Fund - Main Library 2006 <br />Renovation with an available balance of $479,827.46 and Capital Projects Fund - Roof <br />and HVAC Program with an available balance of $262,789.14.
