6.1E Page 36 a. "Redwood City Co-Produced Event" means an event that has significant Redwood City and/or Redevelopment Agency staff involvement in both the planning and the implementation, together with a non-City or Redevelopment Agency entity. To be considered an event co-produced by the City or its Redevelopment Agency, City/Agency staff must be involved in all aspects of the event, including creative direction, funding and fund development, marketing and media relations, and staffing and support services. R "Solicitation" means requesting persons to contribute money or anything else .'; of value for a charitable, religious, personal, or political off/other cause. S. "Temporary Structure" means any structure that can be readily and comp\etely dismantled and removed from the site, such' as a sign, table, stage, tent, platform, sets, stand, bandstand, barrier, canQp~. or-fence. T. lITip" means a sum of money given., to someone for performing a service; a gratuity. . U. "Tent", means any temporary structure, enc1'osure or shelter constructed of fabric or pliable material sUIPorted in any ma!1her other than by air or the contents it protect (See City Fire Code for exemptions). SECTION III. ADMINISTRA rlON Authoritv of the CibV Manaaer or his ar her desionee(s). The City Manager or his or her designee(s). is authorized to develop and modify the rules and procedures for events at Courthouse Square in the form of Administrative Guidelines, which may be modified at any time. The schedule of fees for events at Courthouse Square shan be adopt~(f by CduncH. The City Manager or his or her designee(~J.shaU also take ottler actions necessary to preserve Courthouse Square and public safety, including the prohibition or restriction of certain activities to certain times and/Qt locations. Failure to obey any:;directive issued by the City Manager or his or her designee(s): pursuant to this section shall be a violation of this Chapter. Public ~:av be Excluded Durina an Emeraencv or as Approoriate In an emergency or when. the City Manager or his or her designee(s), Chief of Police or authorized representative of the City, determines that the public safety, or public health, or public interest demands such action, the Square or rights of way may be closed to the public and alt persons may be excluded until the emergency has ceased, and upon the cessation thereof the Square or portion thereof so closed shall again be reopened to the public by order of proper authority.
