<br />6.1E <br />Page 37 <br /> <br />rule that may be in effect now or may hereafter be passed or adopted for the regulation <br />and government of the Courthouse Square and surrounding sidewalks and streets. <br /> <br />SECTION IV. CONDUCT AND ACTIVITIES PROHIBITED <br />No person shall engage in the following prohibited activities in Courthouse Square: <br /> <br />A. Swim, bathe, wade, make contact with or pollute the water of any fountain or <br />body of water; <br /> <br />B. Climb or lie upon any tree, shrub, fence, pole, building, construction, structure or <br />fountain; . <br /> <br />C. Disturb in any unreasonable manner the CourttlOuse Square pavilion vendors <br />and their customers and any concert, perform~nce, exhibition, event or other <br />similar activities as approved by the City; <br /> <br />D. By feeding, encourage the Iingeringf roosting .~nd/or congregatins of non- <br />domesticated animals such as pigeons~ <br /> <br />E. Indulge in disruptive, riotous, offensive, threatening, or indecent conduct; <br /> <br />F. Interfere with the free passage of event participant~ or attendees by creating an <br />impassable obstacle at any entrance, aisle, walkway, sta i'rwe 1\ , ramp, esplanade, <br />vendor booth, or other area commonly used tor public;!8ccess, egress or ingress; <br /> <br />G. Leave garbage,. a~n$, bottles, papers, refuse Qr other items elsewhere than in <br />receptacles provided; <br /> <br />H. Distribute, release or us.e for decorations helium baBoons of any type; <br /> <br />I. SmQke or use tobacco products; <br /> <br />~. Use, play or participate in the .use or playing of any loud speaker, amplifier or <br />other device between the hQurs of 11 pm and 7am. <br /> <br />SECTION V. PERMITS <br />Purpose <br />The City requires permit.s for certain activities which occur in Courthouse Square to <br />protect the public's health, safety, and welfare by ensuring that: (1) adequate resources <br />and services are provided for the event, (2) details of the proposed activity are provided <br />in order to establish permit requirements; (3) the number and frequency of events are <br />managed; and (4) appropriate insurance is provided to protect the City from liability <br />resulting from any bodily injury, damages, or harm that may occur. Policies and <br />procedures for Courthouse Square events are prescribed in the Courthouse Square <br />Administrative Guidelines. <br /> <br />Page 4 of II <br />
