REV: 02-16-24 SK EXHIBIT “A” SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE Task 1 – Project Management and Meetings for $4,825 Lump Sum (LS) •Consultant will provide the project management and coordination for the Team necessary to provide design services for the 1891 Palm Avenue Hydraulic Channel Replacement Project (Project) . •Consultant’s Project Manager will be in direct coordination with City’s Project Manager and staff to ensure proper scheduling of reviews, budget controls, invoice preparation and general coordination. •Consultant’s team will attend and participate in the kick-off meeting and a 90% design review remote video conference meeting. It is assumed that Consultant’s Project Manager and the Designer (two people) will will attend each meeting. •Consultant will provide project coordination. •Consultant will communicate issues with City. •Consultant will set up the project, including developing Consultant’s project work plan. •Consultant will prepare a project schedule as well as monitoring and updating the schedule, tracking, and reporting job progress. •Consultant will coordinate all efforts to organize a consistent set of design documents for the repair and rehabilitation Project of the affected structures and channels. •Regular progress phone calls will also be facilitated by Consultant’s Team. Task 2 – Planning for $1,670 LS The tasks include (but are not limited to) the following: Collect/Review Documents: •Consultant will review available existing condition photos and documents provided by City. •Consultant will review as-builts from other sources within the study area. Consultant will rely on assistance from City to collect necessary utility data from City, San Mateo County (County), California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), petroleum pipe companies, and permitting agencies. Geotechnical Investigation Waiver: •Consultant will meet with City to advise on potential risks of waiving site-specific geotechnical investigation and report. •If it is determined by City that geotechnical exploration is not required, then City shall provide in written authorization waiver letter directing Consultant to use the 2022 California Building Code Chapters 16 and 18 presumptive geotechnical ATTY/AGR.2024.016/Wood Rodgers, Inc.
