REV: 02-16-24 SK <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />Task 1 – Project Management and Meetings for $4,825 Lump Sum (LS) <br />•Consultant will provide the project management and coordination for the Team <br />necessary to provide design services for the 1891 Palm Avenue Hydraulic Channel <br />Replacement Project (Project) . <br />•Consultant’s Project Manager will be in direct coordination with City’s Project <br />Manager and staff to ensure proper scheduling of reviews, budget controls, invoice <br />preparation and general coordination. <br />•Consultant’s team will attend and participate in the kick-off meeting and a 90% <br />design review remote video conference meeting. It is assumed that <br />Consultant’s Project Manager and the Designer (two people) will will attend each <br />meeting. <br />•Consultant will provide project coordination. <br />•Consultant will communicate issues with City. <br />•Consultant will set up the project, including developing Consultant’s project work <br />plan. <br />•Consultant will prepare a project schedule as well as monitoring and updating the <br />schedule, tracking, and reporting job progress. <br />•Consultant will coordinate all efforts to organize a consistent set of design <br />documents for the repair and rehabilitation Project of the affected structures and <br />channels. <br />•Regular progress phone calls will also be facilitated by Consultant’s Team. <br />Task 2 – Planning for $1,670 LS <br />The tasks include (but are not limited to) the following: <br />Collect/Review Documents: <br />•Consultant will review available existing condition photos and documents provided <br />by City. <br />•Consultant will review as-builts from other sources within the study area. <br />Consultant will rely on assistance from City to collect necessary utility data from <br />City, San Mateo County (County), California Department of Transportation <br />(Caltrans), Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), petroleum pipe companies, and <br />permitting agencies. <br />Geotechnical Investigation Waiver: <br />•Consultant will meet with City to advise on potential risks of waiving site-specific <br />geotechnical investigation and report. <br />•If it is determined by City that geotechnical exploration is not required, then City <br />shall provide in written authorization waiver letter directing Consultant to use the <br />2022 California Building Code Chapters 16 and 18 presumptive geotechnical <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.016/Wood Rodgers, Inc.
