REV: 04-11-24 VR <br />EXHIBIT “A” <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br /> <br />Consultant will design, create, and deploy three new electronic interactive components <br />for the Redwood Shores Branch Library Interpretive Center. Consultant will provide <br />design, programming, setup, and installation of the interactive electronic exhibits, <br />applications, and games described in Exhibit B - Concepts. <br /> <br />Consultant will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and furnishings as shown or <br />implied on the drawings in Exhibit C – Exhibit Modifications drawings, specifically those <br />described as Items E, H, and J to properly connect computer exhibits, applications, and <br />games. The scope solely pertains to the design, supply and installation of 3 interactive <br />games and the PCs that will run them. Consultant shall ensure all content and equipment <br />are in proper working condition prior to contract completion. The touchscreens will be <br />installed outside the scope of this agreement by a Third-Party Contractor and are not the <br />responsibility of Consultant, but Consultant will be responsible for providing any additional <br />hardware, such as computers, needed to run the touchscreen applications. <br /> <br />Alignment with setwork and touch screen integrator (“Third-Party Contractor”) <br /> <br />• Cable connectors such as HDMI and USB connecting the touchscreen with the <br />computer fall outside of the Consultant’s scope. It is the Third-Party Contractor’s <br />responsibility to provide cables to the exact exhibit area/ PC enclosure where the <br />PCs will be installed by Consultant. <br /> <br />• Consultant will specify power wall sockets, spatial, cabling and ventilation/cooling <br />needs to the Third-Party Contractor, in order to successfully install the PC with <br />games on site. <br /> <br />• Consultant will provide VESA mount and power cord for the PCs. <br /> <br />• Consultant will provide the PCs that will be NUC mini-PCs (or similar) running <br />Windows designed for exhibition environments and suitable for touch screen <br />applications. <br /> <br />• The touch screens need to be suitable for the Windows operating system. Drivers <br />will be supplied by the Third-Party Contractor. <br /> <br />Day-to day operation <br /> <br />• Consultant is not responsible for damage of hardware or operating system through <br />improper shutdown of the PCs not caused by Consultant. Consultant does not <br />have control over the environment where the computers will be housed which will <br />be built and installed by the Third-Party Contractor. Insufficient ventilation, <br />moisture, cables that are exposed to public and other factors may lead to <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.048/Formula D_ (Redwood Shores Electronic Interactives) (Page 11 of 41)
