Inc. (True North), West <br />Coast Code Consultants, Inc. (WC3), and TRB and Associates, Inc. (TRB) to provide additional capacity to <br />maintain customer service levels during high-volume periods and to provide specialized expertise <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />By motion, approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the following contract amendments for <br />on-call professional services for the Community Development & Transportation Department – Building <br />Division: <br />1. Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Services with True North Compliance Services, Inc. to increase <br />compensation by $1,000,000 over a 2-year period for a total contract amount of $2,000,000; <br />2. Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Services with West Coast Code Consultants, Inc. to increase <br />compensation by $1,738,560 over a 2-year period for a total contract amount of $4,038,560; and <br />3. Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Services with TRB and Associates, Inc. to increase compensation <br />by $200,000 over a 2-year period for a total contract amount of $400,000. <br />STRATEGIC PLAN GUIDING PRINCIPLE <br />Excellence in Government Operations <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Community Development & Transportation Department’s (CDT) Building Regulation and Code <br />Enforcement Division (Building Division) and the Fire Department (Fire) seek to amend contracts with <br />qualified firms that can conduct on-call professional services as necessary.
