· There are other areas in Redwood City that can be developed for Low-Income High-
Density Housing, and it doesn’t make sense to have it all clustered together in one
area. Our area can't continue to be the "go-to" for city projects.

· The study has not been done to understand the traffic/burdens that will impact
having more high-density housing will have on the traffic in our area. There is no
parking being provided for these 178 units. The neighborhood cannot support this
number of cars. Most likely all the residents will need cars to get to their jobs,
although public transportation is close – it does not connect to all potential jobsites. It
is not responsible for the Council to open the door to additional impacts on our
neighborhood. Our neighborhood should not be thrown under the bus just because
they need to meet a deadline.

· The developer should be required to show data from similar nearby
projects what percentage of residents have no vehicles? This neighborhood
seems to be already slammed with tons of vehicles.

Please do not allow this particular development project to be built in our
neighborhood.

Respectfully,

MJ Davey
38 Maple Avenue
Atherton, CA
--
M.J.
