From:Jim Coffman
To:GRP-City Council
Subject:112 Vera
Date:Saturday, July 13, 2024 7:00:18 PM
You don't often get email from jimmercoffman@gmail.com. Learn why this is important
Honorable Council Members,
Before you approve the building at 112 Vera, please take a ride around the surrounding
neighborhoods during the evenings, at night and on the weekends. Ask yourself and the
residents where 178 new vehicles are going to park? 150? 100? 78? 50? Then ask the
neighbors. The planners will tell you that the new residents will all take the bus or ride the
bicycles that are parked in the racks generously provided by the developers. I'm looking at
similar apartments in the area west of El Camino and see parking chaos. If these residents
take the bus or bicycle, their cars and work trucks are still jammed in on the street.
Please don't make a decision that will cause suffering for the future residents of the new
building and existing neighbors who rely on vehicles for work or transportation.
Sincerely,
Jim Coffman
1109 Virginia Avenue
