This is Susan McAfee who has owned and operated Neighborhood Kids’ Corner School Aged Childcare at <br />Roy Cloud School for the last 41 years. Keeping childcare affordable in RWC is a constant challenge for all of us in <br />this very expensive community. While we are a for profit company, there honestly is not much profit in this <br />business. I pay almost $130,000 yearly rent to the RWC school district and try to pay my wonderful staff of <br />Teachers and Aides a worthwhile wage. And at the same time - I try to keep our tuition family and single parent <br />friendly. It would be helpful to all of us who operate childcare centers and homes to be relieved of this tax.
