REV: 05-08-24 VR <br />Scope of Services <br />The City has provided a comprehensive scope within the RFP. Schaaf & Wheeler has <br />supplemented the City’s requested scope with additional tasks that may be required pending the <br />preliminary investigation and assessment. To develop this scope, a number of assumptions are <br />made. These assumptions are documented herein. <br />Task 1: Project Management <br />This task provides the overall management of the project. This task includes: <br />1. Provide project coordination; communicating project issues with the City; setting up the <br />project, developing the project work plan; preparing project schedules as well as weekly <br />monitoring and monthly updating of that schedule; daily tracking and monthly reporting of job <br />progress. <br />2. Perform Quality Control Reviews and Quality Assurance of all project submittals. <br />3. Attend six meetings with City staff; project kick-off meeting, Preliminary Engineering <br />Report/Basis of Design meeting, 60% Design Review meeting, 90% Final Design review <br />meeting, pre-bid meeting and pre-construction meeting. <br />Deliverables: <br />Meeting Agenda, Meeting Minutes, Monthly schedule and progress reports shall be submitted. <br />Task 2: Surveying And Utilities Research Investigation <br />This phase provides the surveying and utilities research for the project. This task includes: <br />1. Research and review existing utilities from City as-built plans and private utility companies. <br />2. Prepare the topographic base mapping for the project. All surface features (e.g., drain inlets, <br />trees, water valves, etc.), utility information and base mapping approximately 20 feet beyond the <br />limits of the project shall be included. <br />3. Review Title Report to ensure precise plotting of boundaries and easements. <br />Deliverables: <br />Digital copies of the topographic base mapping and Title Reports shall be submitted. <br />Task 3: Basis of Design <br />This memorandum report will be used as the basis for the development of the Bid Documents. <br />The Task includes: <br />1. Review of existing pump stations background information. Conduct site visit to each pump <br />station site to assess the condition and provide recommendations for mitigation of wet well liner <br />and downstream force main. <br />2. Analysis of shared forcemain hydraulics for SSPS 22 and 23 including potential impacts to <br />SSPS 10, SSPS 17, and SSPS 19 which also share portions of the same forcemain. <br />Assessment will incorporate existing controls, VFD capabilities and setpoints. <br />ATTY/AGR.2024.064/Schaaf & Wheeler (Agreement for Services for Design Services) (Page 12 of 20)
